The manufacturer’s product page describes this mattress as medium-firm, like the first Origin, but we’ve noticed that the mattress feels firmer than the previous version. It also lacks advanced cooling features that are essential for memory foam mattresses, like cooling gel or phase-change material.
Origin 2.0 has reasonable motion isolation, though not as good as the original Origin mattress. This mattress also tested average for edge support, which is considerably lower than the previous version. For a mattress that’s meant to be an upgrade, Origin 2.0 tests noticeably poorer than the original version.

If you don’t like your Origin 2.0, you can exchange it once for a different Polysleep mattress. This option is only available after sleeping on the mattress for at least 45 nights—nearly half the length of the sleep trial.
You will need to pay the difference in cost if you’re upgrading to a more expensive mattress. You’ll also be using the same (now much shorter) sleep trial. It’s not clear whether Polysleep provides a partial refund if you switch to a less expensive mattress.
