Popular Polysleep Mattresses

Polysleep produces all-foam mattresses that are marketed as “value” or “premium” models according to their prices and features. While some have antimicrobial features, Polysleep mattresses generally have limited cooling technologies—something to watch out for if you’re a hot sleeper.

There’s very little information about Polysleep on consumer trust websites like Trustpilot and BBB, making it difficult to say what your purchasing experience would be like. In addition, Polysleep only offers an industry-standard 100-night sleep trial and 10-year warranty, with an $89.95 fee for returning your mattress.

While Polysleep is an affordable brand with a selection of foam mattresses to choose from, that affordability means that you might not get the features or long-term value you need. Competing mattresses like Douglas Original offer more. At just $799 for a queen size, Douglas has a longer sleep trial and warranty, more cooling features, and better-rated customer service (according to Trustpilot and BBB).

The Polysleep

The Polysleep is a medium-firm foam mattress available at $1,195 for a queen size. It features 3 interior layers, including a layer of antimicrobial foam. It also has an integrated frame that provides extra edge support.

This mattress is pricier than competing foam mattresses, many of which offer more cooling features at a lower price point, like a cooling cover or gel-infused foam.

Want a foam mattress with advanced cooling features for under $1,000? Check out Douglas Original.

Polysleep Origin 2.0

The Polysleep Origin 2.0 is a medium-firm foam mattress available for $995 for a queen size. It’s designed with hypoallergenic and antimicrobial features, like many other Polysleep mattresses.

This mattress has average edge support and lower motion isolation compared to the previous Origin model. Like other Polysleep mattresses, Origin 2.0 also lacks much-needed cooling features for foam mattresses.

Polysleep Sierra

Polysleep Sierra is a firm foam mattress available at $690 for a queen size. It features 2 interior layers, including a layer of antimicrobial foam. It has very good edge support and motion isolation, average bounce, and almost no cooling features.

Notably, the cover on this mattress lacks any of Polysleep’s usual colours or branding. This makes it very hard to tell that it’s a Polysleep mattress just by looking at it. The reason for this design choice is unknown.

Polysleep Zephyr

Polysleep Zephyr is a medium-firm foam mattress from Polysleep. It’s also the most expensive option in the Polysleep lineup at $2,545 for a queen size.

We would expect to see more features at this price point. The mattress’s 100-night sleep trial and 10-year warranty are only standard for the industry, and Polysleep only issues partial refunds if you decide to return your mattress.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Polysleep mattresses good?

Polysleep mattresses are decent, but we think there are more affordable options out there with better features. We recommend Douglas Original, which offers balanced support, comfortable cooling, and pressure-point relief at just $799 for a queen size. Douglas also comes with a longer risk-free 365-night sleep trial, a 20-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle.

Where are Polysleep mattresses manufactured?

Polysleep manufactures its mattresses in Montreal, Quebec.

Do Polysleep mattresses need a special bed frame?

According to the manufacturer, Polysleep mattresses are best used with their Polysleep Foundation. However, they can be used on almost any bed frame, including adjustable bases, platforms, and slatted bases.

What does the Polysleep warranty cover?

Polysleep’s 10-year limited warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It’s unclear if the warranty covers damage to the mattress during delivery.

How long does a Polysleep mattress last?

Polysleep mattresses come with a 10-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, so they should last for around that long. Most foam mattresses will last about 7–10 years in general. Longer warranties, like Douglas’s 20-year warranty, usually mean that a mattress will last longer.

What Polysleep mattress alternatives should I consider?

We think you should look at Douglas Original. Available at just $799 for a queen size, this award-winning mattress features a medium-firm feel and includes advanced cooling technologies, pressure-point relief, and a machine-washable cover. Douglas stands out from similarly priced foam mattresses thanks to its 365-night sleep trial, 20-year warranty, and free bedding bundle with your purchase.
