Product Details
Hush Graph-Iced stands 12″ tall and is available in a medium-firm feel only. The mattress also has above-average edge support and motion isolation. However, it has notably low bounce, making it less responsive than other hybrids.
The mattress’s most notable features are its cooling technologies. The first 2 layers in this mattress both use graphite-infused foam, which is antimicrobial as well as cooling. The support layer contains several air channels for breathability and comes with an IcedShift Cooling Band to add further heat dissipation. It’s not clear what this band is or how it provides cooling benefits.
Although Hush Graph-Iced comes with an industry-standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty and a 100-night sleep trial, returns are different depending on where you purchased the mattress. Hush offers a full refund for mattresses purchased through their website. But if you purchase the mattress from Sleep Country, you’ll be subject to their exchange-only policy.
Consider Octave Vista instead. At only $899 for a queen size, it comes with multiple advanced technologies to promote healthier sleep, including an antimicrobial copper foam layer, a moisture-wicking and machine-washable cover, and ergonomic zoned channelled support. It also provides advanced pressure-point relief and promotes proper spinal alignment. Vista comes with a risk-free 365-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle with your purchase.
Ideal For: Side Sleepers, Back Sleepers, Stomach Sleepers

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns
Hush offers free shipping to most regions in Canada. It will arrive on your doorstep packaged in a box in 6–9 business days, including dispatch and delivery time. If you live in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, or Nunavut, you’ll have to pay an additional $150 fee.

Hush Graph-Iced comes with a 100-night sleep trial whether it’s ordered through the company’s website or purchased through Sleep Country. However, while Hush’s sleep trial allows for full refunds, Sleep Country’s doesn’t. In the case you’d like to return your mattress, you’ll only receive credit for an in-store exchange, and you’ll have to pay the price difference if you choose a more expensive mattress. You’ll also have to return the mattress yourself.
Hush offers an industry-standard 10-year limited warranty for its mattresses. It covers manufacturing defects only, and not incidental damage. That includes any damage the mattress may receive when it’s being shipped to you. This is somewhat concerning since our mattress was delivered in a damaged box that was being held together by packing tape.
In comparison, competitor mattress Octave Vista comes with a 365-night sleep trial and a 15-year warranty. If you decide to return Vista, you’ll receive a full refund with free return pickup.
Choose Octave Vista and get a longer sleep trial and warranty.

Hush Graph-Iced Mattress Construction
Hush Graph-Iced stands 12″ tall and has 5 visible interior layers. Four of these layers are foam, and one layer contains coils encased with foam. All foam used is CertiPUR-US® certified. Hush does not disclose the densities of the foams used in this mattress.
- Layer 1: The top layer is 1″ of graphite-infused memory foam. This layer conforms the most to your body as you lie down. The graphite contributes to the mattress’s cooling and is also antimicrobial.
- Layer 2: The second layer is 1″ of graphite-infused memory foam. Like the first layer, the graphite in this layer adds to the mattress’s cooling and antimicrobial properties.
- Layer 3: The third layer is 2″ of ventilated foam. Air channels carved into the bottom of this layer make it breathable, and Hush claims the IcedShift Cooling Band on top wicks heat away from your body. It’s not clear what this band is or how it provides cooling benefits.
- Layer 4: The fourth layer is 6″ of individually pocketed metal coils. This layer is encased with foam along the sidewalls to increase edge support.
- Layer 5: The bottom layer of the mattress is 2″ of higher-density support foam. This layer acts as a base for the coil layer above and insulates the mattress from the bed frame.
Although the law label of The Hush Graph-Iced mattress that we received has instructions on machine-washing the cover, the product page on Hush’s website says the cover should not be removed for cleaning, and spot-cleaned only. Other information about the cover is not made clear on either Hush or Sleep Country’s product pages, and nothing is mentioned about the cover having cooling properties.

MattressReviews.ca commissions licensed third-party engineers and uses public data to rate mattresses on over 40 criteria.
This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable. Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.

6.1 /10
Firmness
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Hush Graph-Iced had a deflection of 3.5″ when laid on, resulting in a firmness score of 6.1/10. This firmness level is ideal for all sleep styles, but you may want a slightly firmer mattress if you like having more support.
(Want a mattress with a slightly firmer feel? Octave Vista‘s firmness score of 6.8/10 and five-zoned ergonomic support may be right for you.)

6.3 /10
Edge Support
Hush Graph-Iced had a deflection of 5.8″ from a seated position, contributing to its 6.3/10 edge support score. This is above average for a hybrid, but you’ll likely notice some degree of sinkage when sitting on the edge or sleeping farther away from the middle of your bed.
(Looking for a mattress with more edge support? Octave Vista has you covered with its higher edge support score of 7.5/10).
8.0 /10
Motion Isolation
Hush Graph-Iced scored 8.0/10 for motion isolation, an excellent score for a hybrid mattress. You’ll be able to move around and change sleep positions without disturbing your partner.
4.1 /10
Bounce
Hush Graph-Iced scored 4.1/10 for bounce, which is below average for a hybrid mattress. This will provide somewhat of a responsive surface to help you change positions throughout the night.

3.5 /10
Cooling Features
The Hush Graph-Iced Mattress is advertised as a cooling mattress. While it has some cooling technologies, it lacks commonly found features like cooling gel foam and a cooling cover. Instead, the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress incorporates graphite-infused foam and other features. This mattress gains points for its:
- Graphite-infused upper foam layers to draw heat away from the body
- Ventilated transition layer that improves breathability and heat dissipation
- IcedShift cooling band, an undescribed technology with unclear benefits
- Pocketed coil layer that allows for airflow
Looking for a mattress with a higher cooling features score for a more affordable price? Octave Vista incorporates a higher number of cooling features, including copper-infused memory foam with phase-change material, breathable Elastex® foam, channelled support foam, and a machine-washable cover with cooling nanofibres.
Octave Vista is available at just $899 for a queen size, compared to $2,099 for the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Hush mattresses good?
Hush mattresses have above-average edge support and excellent motion isolation, but it’s surprising to see a cooling mattress without a cooling cover. The Hush Graph-Iced Mattress has a higher-than-average price tag of $2,099 for a queen size. Sleepers may want to consider competitor mattress Octave Vista instead.
At just $899 for a queen size, Octave features a CryoFusion™ cooling nanofibre cover, a breathable Elastex® layer, antimicrobial copper-infused memory foam, and ergonomic zoned channelled support foam. Octave is specially engineered to provide excellent pressure-point relief and promote spinal alignment. Plus, its much longer 365-night sleep trial and 15-year warranty give you time to ensure it’s the perfect fit for you.
Is the Hush mattress cover machine washable?
Although the law label of the Hush Graph-Iced mattress we received had instructions detailing how to machine-wash your mattress cover, the product page on Hush’s website says the cover shouldn’t be removed for cleaning, and spot-cleaned only.
Where are Hush mattresses made?
Hush makes mattresses for the Canadian market in Toronto, Ontario.
Is the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress good for hot sleepers?
The Hush Graph-Iced isn’t a bad choice if you sleep hot, considering the mattress’s inclusion of graphite-infused foam, ventilated foam, and springs. However, Hush’s $2,099 price tag for a queen size isn’t accessible for all Canadians. The mattress also doesn’t have a cooling cover, which is unusual for a cooling mattress. In comparison, Octave Vista offers additional advanced cooling features, along with a cooling nanofibre-infused top cover and zoned support—all for just $899 for a queen size.
Does the Hush Graph-Iced Mattress need a special bed frame?
It’s unclear whether or not Hush Graph-Iced requires a certain type of frame. According to Sleep Country’s website (Hush’s parent company), the mattress is compatible with adjustable bases, but further information isn’t shared. We’d recommend ensuring you pair Hush with a base with a weight limit that will accommodate both the weight of the mattress and the weight of the anticipated sleepers.
What does the Hush warranty cover?
Hush’s warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials only. It does not cover incidental damage, including damage that occurs during shipping. This is somewhat concerning since our mattress was delivered in a damaged box that was being held together by packing tape.
How long does a Hush mattress last?
Hush’s mattress warranty period is 10 years, so your Hush mattress should last for about that long.
What Hush mattress alternatives should I consider?
We recommend checking out Octave Vista. Vista is a specialty memory foam mattress with advanced technologies—including antimicrobial copper foam, phase-change material, a cooling nanofibre cover, and five-zone support to keep your spine in perfect alignment. These comfort and temperature-balancing features come together to provide restful and rejuvenating sleep.
It also comes with a risk-free 365-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle—all for just $899 for a queen size.
