Product Details
Haven LUX Hybrid is a hybrid mattress available online via Haven Sleep Co’s website. It comes in two firmness options: Classic Plush (firm) and Classic + Advanced Pressure Relief (medium). Its layer construction includes foam and coil layers, meant to provide additional support if you’re the kind of sleeper who needs it. For this review, we ordered the Medium version.
Haven LUX Hybrid stands 14″ tall, with the pocket coil layer and micro coil layer accounting for 10″ of that height. The remaining four layers, not including the quilted mattress cover, are less than 1″ thick each. While these layers should work together to provide comfort and support, they may not be thick enough to provide all of the contouring, cooling, and spine-aligning features that Haven promotes.
This mattress offers very good motion isolation and an above-average level of bounce. However, edge support is lower than average for a hybrid. This is surprising given Haven LUX Hybrid’s reinforced foam edges.
Ideal For: Side Sleepers, Back Sleepers, Stomach Sleepers

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns
Haven LUX Hybrid arrives in 4–9 business days, including dispatch and delivery time. Shipping is free, but there may be a fee for delivery to remote areas, depending on the mattress’s weight. You can cancel an order within 24 hours of making it, but you will be charged a cancellation fee at any point after that. The mattress arrives rolled up in a box and will need up to 24 hours to expand after opening.
Haven’s 100-night sleep trial lets you try the mattress at home. However, the company has a limit of one sleep trial per household and recommends trying just one mattress at a time. Haven reserves the right to decline any request for a refund if the company determines you aren’t behaving within the spirit of the sleep trial.
If you live in a remote area, shipping limitations mean Haven’s sleep trial looks a little different. You can still initiate a return within 100 nights, but it’s your responsibility to return the mattress to its factory of origin in pristine, like-new condition. That’s the only way you’ll qualify for a refund.
In addition to its sleep trial, Haven offers a 10-year limited warranty covering manufacturing or workmanship defects. This is considerably shorter than the 365-night sleep trial and 15-year warranty offered by competitor Logan & Cove. In addition, Logan & Cove provides free returns and a full refund if you decide to return your mattress.
Buy Logan & Cove Choice and enjoy a 365-night sleep trial with a 15-year warranty.

Haven Mattress Construction
Haven LUX Hybrid stands 14″ tall. Its 6 mattress layers include:
- Layer 1: The top layer of the Haven LUX Hybrid mattress is a 0.5″ layer of open-cell bio foam. This layer provides some softness when you first lie down.
- Layer 2: This layer is a 1″ sheet of Talalay latex and copper-infused foam. This is part of what gives the mattress its high bounce score. The added copper helps with temperature regulation, making sure things stay cool during the night.
- Layer 3: This 1″ layer of cooling gel memory foam has an open-cell design, which helps keep the mattress airy and avoid overheating while you sleep at night.
- Layer 4: Depending on which firmness option you choose, this 1″ layer of open-cell foam provides varying levels of support. Classic Plush keeps a consistent feel throughout the layer, while Classic Plush + Advanced Pressure Relief has a softer part in the middle, meant to give your shoulders and hips a bit more support.
- Layer 5: A 1″ layer of micro coils helps contour and support your body weight as you sleep. These work together with the pocket coils below to provide extra body contouring and support.
- Layer 6: The bottom (support) layer is made up of 9″ pocket coils. These coils are individually wrapped to reduce motion transfer. Around the edge, they’ve got a 4″-thick wall of support foam to keep everything steady and prevent too much sinkage around the pillow-top.
Haven doesn’t specify density for any of the foam layers in the Haven LUX Hybrid mattress.
Even with the 4″ foam around the perimeter of the mattress, Haven LUX Hybrid still performs below average for edge support. The mattress also lacks zoned support beneath the shoulders, back, and hips.
This mattress comes with a plush, moisture-wicking bamboo pillow top. It’s not removable or machine washable, so the mattress can only be spot-cleaned.

Edge Support
Haven LUX Hybrid scored 3.2/10 for edge support, which is below average for a hybrid. This means it doesn’t have the greatest support when you’re sitting on the edge of the bed, and standing up from sitting might be a bit more difficult.
In comparison, competitor foam mattress Logan & Cove Choice scored a 7.5/10 rating. You should have an easier time sitting on the edge of the bed and no trouble getting up in the morning.
7.3 /10
Motion Isolation
Scoring an impressive 7.3/10 for motion isolation, Haven LUX Hybrid does an excellent job at keeping you and your partner from disturbing each other with your movements while you sleep.
6.4 /10
Bounce
Haven LUX Hybrid scored 6.4/10 for bounce, which is above average for a hybrid. This can be helpful if you need a little extra spring to help you get up in the morning.
If you prefer something with a little less bounciness, though, Logan & Cove Choice has a considerably lower bounce score of 5.8/10.

Cooling Features
Haven Lux Hybrid mattress is marketed as a luxury pillow-top mattress. To support this claim, the mattress is equipped with several cooling features. Haven Lux Hybrid earns points for its:
- Moisture-wicking bamboo cover to keep sleepers dry at night
- Open-cell foam to promote airflow
- Layer of Talalay latex and copper-infused foam for temperature regulation and bounce
- Layer of cooling gel memory foam for more cooling
- Layer of micro coils to promote air circulation and extra body contouring
- Layer of pocket coils to provide support and promote air circulation
If you’re searching for a hybrid mattress with some advanced cooling features at a lower price, you should consider Logan & Cove Choice. Choice is a hybrid mattress with a cooling nanofibre cover and gel-infused foam with a layer of individually wrapped pocket coils for enhanced breathability.

Company Background
Haven Sleep Co. is a family-owned business with a mattress production heritage dating back to 1949. Haven focuses on delivering high-quality mattresses directly to customers, bypassing traditional showroom expenses. Over the years, the company’s product line has expanded to include various mattress styles, bedding, pillows, and bed bases.
Despite the fact that the company is rated “A+” on the Better Business Bureau, customer reviews for Haven’s products are difficult to find online outside of the corporate website. The company’s BBB profile has 4/5 stars based on just three reviews. Haven also doesn’t have a Trustpilot profile. This makes it hard to validate whether the customer reviews on Haven’s website are accurate.
Consider Logan & Cove, which has 4.87/5 stars on BBB and is rated “Excellent” on Trustpilot.
