Like Endy Original, the Endy Hybrid mattress is latex-free, hypoallergenic, and GREENGUARD Gold certified, which means it keeps emissions low to maintain indoor air quality. Endy Hybrid also features zoned pocketed coils but lacks cooling gel foam, high-density memory foam, or a pillow top—features many customers prioritize.

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns
Endy ships by ground directly to your front door, mainly using FedEx. However, the company will also ship via Frontier, particularly to remote communities in Ontario and Manitoba. If you live in a multi-unit building, Endy notes they’ll only deliver to the lobby.
Endy ships free throughout most of Canada, with no noted restrictions on the mattress size. It’s a different story when shipping to territory capitals. Additional fees apply to any mattress order, and the Endy website notes they only ship Endy Hybrid twin mattresses to the territories. The order ships from Ontario or British Columbia and should arrive within 1–10 business days, including dispatch and delivery time.
The mattress arrives in a cardboard box, with a cardboard zip seal to help with easy opening, and is well-protected by two layers of heavy-duty plastic. After it’s unrolled, the mattress fully expands within three minutes and is ready to sleep on the same day it’s delivered.
Endy offers a 100-night sleep trial, which is average for the mattress industry. The company will also arrange to pick up returns for free within the sleep trial period. Subject to the terms on their website, they’ll issue a full refund if you aren’t completely happy with your purchase.
Endy Hybrid Mattress Construction
The Canadian-made Endy Hybrid mattress has 4 layers: three foam layers and one zoned coil support layer.
- Layer 1: The 2″ comfort layer is made of Endy Comfort Foam, a polyurethane foam that “hugs” your body without allowing you to sink in too far. Endy also claims that the foam’s open-cell design improves airflow and breathability for cooler sleep.
- Layer 2: The 3″ transition layer of polyurethane foam helps relieve pressure points and prevent motion transfer for undisturbed sleep.
- Layer 3: Endy’s website says the 6″ zoned coil support layer features high-carbon steel pocket coils, wrapped in 100% polypropylene, for more lumbar support and motion isolation. This is important if you’re a light sleeper with a restless partner.
- Layer 4: The 1.75″ support layer is made of high-density polyurethane foam that helps keep the mattress firm and supportive.
Endy Hybrid’s sleep surface is covered with a white quilted 100% polyester fabric that’s padded with foam and polyfill for a plush feel. The top cover and side fabric are made of 100% polyester and the fill is 100% polyester fibres, while the bottom cover fabric is 100% polypropylene.

MattressReviews.ca commissions licensed third-party engineers and uses public data to rate mattresses on over 40 criteria.
This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable. Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.
6.1 /10
Firmness
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Endy Hybrid scored 6.1/10 for firmness. This falls into the medium-firm category, which is suitable for all sleep styles. However, Endy Hybrid has a significant amount of “hug.” You’ll experience sinking into the top of the mattress when you lie down. This may not be ideal if you’re a stomach sleeper, or if you prefer sleeping on top of your mattress rather than in it.
6.0 /10
Edge Support
The Endy Hybrid mattress has slightly above-average edge support at 6.0/10. This means you can sit or lie comfortably on the edge of the bed, but the sidewalls may sink a bit beneath your weight—a common complaint with many foam and hybrid mattresses.
7.2 /10
Motion Isolation
Endy Hybrid scores highly on motion isolation, with an above-average 7.2/10. Memory foam and hybrid mattresses are very popular for their motion isolation, which is essential if you sleep beside a partner and want uninterrupted sleep. Logan & Cove Choice is worth comparing, as it comes with a much lower price tag for similar motion isolation at 7.2/10.
5.4 /10
Bounce
The Endy Hybrid mattress scored an average rating of 5.4/10 for bounce, which is typical for a foam mattress. Logan & Cove Choice has a lower bounce rating of 5.8/10—an option worth considering when combined with its high motion isolation score.

Cooling Features
Endy Hybrid isn’t advertised as a cooling mattress, but it does have a few cooling features that help you sleep cooler. Endy Hybrid earns points for its:
- Open-cell foam comfort layer, which is more breathable than closed-cell foam
- Layer of pocketed coils that improve airflow
Competing hybrid Logan & Cove Choice offers more cooling features like cooling nanofibres, a layer of cooling gel foam, and zoned pocket coils to provide a cooler night’s sleep.

Company Background
Endy is a sleep company based in Toronto that’s well-known for its foam mattress-in-a-box. The Endy mattress quickly gained popularity in Canada and became one of the most recognized mattress brands, competing with other popular brands like Douglas and Casper. After selling its mattresses for three years, Endy was acquired by Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc., but continues to primarily sell their mattresses online.
In addition to their original foam mattress, Endy has introduced three other mattress brands: Mira (2019, now discontinued), Endy Sport (2021, now discontinued), and the new Endy Hybrid. Even with these new offerings, the Endy foam mattress remains their top-selling product. The company also offers a range of bedding accessories and living room furniture to complement their mattresses.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Endy Hybrid Mattress cover machine washable?
No, it isn’t. The cover on the Endy Hybrid Mattress can’t be removed and washed because the plush quilted top is lined with foam. Endy recommends spot-cleaning any marks or stains using a damp cloth and mild detergent. The company also recommends using a mattress protector and suggests its own brand, which is temperature-regulating and water resistant
Does the Endy Hybrid mattress contain memory foam?
No, there’s no memory foam in the Endy Hybrid mattress. It’s made with Endy Comfort Foam that uses open-air cell technology, which Endy claims is better at controlling body heat through better airflow than traditional memory foam. Even so, some customers report Endy is too warm to sleep comfortably
What does the Endy Hybrid mattress warranty cover?
The standard 10-year Endy Hybrid mattress warranty covers one-time repair or replacement due to manufacturer errors in the original size purchased. You can extend your warranty to 15 years by registering your mattress online at no additional cost. It’s important to note that the warranty doesn’t cover damage to Endy Hybrid’s fabric handles caused by improper handling.
What happens to returned Endy Hybrid mattresses?
In most parts of Canada, Endy donates returned mattresses to Canadian charities and nonprofits that support survivors of domestic abuse, newly housed youth, and new immigrants and refugees to Canada. In areas where donation isn’t possible, mattresses are recycled or disposed of according to municipal regulations.
Where is the Endy Hybrid mattress made?
The Endy Hybrid mattress is made in Canada. Mattresses are made at facilities in Ontario and Quebec, then shipped from distribution centres in Ontario and Alberta.
Does the Endy Hybrid mattress need a special frame?
Endy recommends using a traditional box spring or adding a slatted base to your current bed frame. Both options will support the mattress and let it breathe. Avoid placing the mattress directly on the floor.
How much does the Endy Hybrid mattress cost?
The Endy Hybrid mattress price is $1,095–$1,595, depending on which mattress size you choose. The Endy Hybrid queen mattress is available for $1,295.
Are Endy mattresses good?
There are fewer than 300 Endy Hybrid verified owner reviews on their website, but most of the reviews are positive. As the Endy Hybrid mattress is softer, it may not be ideal for stomach sleepers, but side sleepers have rated it well. Other forums have mixed reviews, mainly about Endy Hybrid’s reported lack of edge support. If you’re looking for a mattress with good edge support, cooling gel foam, or a sleep trial that’s longer than 100 days, you may want to keep looking.
What Endy Hybrid mattress alternatives should I consider?
Logan & Cove Choice is a medium-firm hybrid mattress ideal for all sleep styles. The company offers a 365-night sleep trial, compared to Endy’s 100-night trial. Logan & Cove Choice also earned top scores for its use of high-quality, eco-conscious materials, overall comfort, and excellent value at just $999 for a queen size, compared to $1,295 for an Endy Hybrid.
