Product Details
Endy Hybrid stands 13″ tall and has 4 layers. This mattress combines polyurethane foam and a zoned steel pocket coil layer for extra support beneath the hips and lower back. According to tests run by third-party engineers (commissioned by us), this mattress has above-average edge support and very good motion isolation.
The mattress has a top cover made of 100% quilted polyester fabric padded with polyester fill. Polyester is a material known to trap heat, so you could potentially experience overheating when you sleep on Endy Hybrid. The mattress also comes with only two cooling features: a layer of open-cell foam and a layer of breathable pocketed coils.
Many similar hybrid mattresses offer more advanced features at a more accessible price. Logan & Cove Choice also has zoned support, with even greater edge support and motion isolation. In addition to open-cell Elastex® foam and breathable pocket coils, Choice has a layer of cooling gel foam and a quilted cover with cooling nanofibres, hollow-fibre fill, and more gel-infused foam—all for just $999 for a queen size.
Ideal For: Back Sleepers, Side Sleepers

Delivery, Sleep Trial & Returns
Endy ships by ground directly to your front door, mainly using FedEx. However, the company will also ship via Frontier, particularly to remote communities in Ontario and Manitoba. If you live in a multi-unit building, Endy notes they’ll only deliver to the lobby.
Endy ships free throughout most of Canada, with no noted restrictions on mattress size. However, shipping to territory capitals is a different story. Additional fees apply to any mattress order, and the Endy website notes that they only ship Endy Hybrid twin mattresses to the territories. The order ships from Ontario or British Columbia and should arrive within 1–10 business days, including dispatch and delivery time.
The mattress arrives in a cardboard box, with a cardboard zip seal to help with easy opening, and is well-protected by two layers of heavy-duty plastic. After it’s unrolled, the mattress fully expands within three minutes and is ready to sleep on the same day it’s delivered.
Endy offers a 100-night sleep trial, which is average for the mattress industry. The company will also arrange to pick up returns for free within the sleep trial period. Subject to the terms on their website, they’ll issue a full refund if you aren’t completely happy with your purchase.
Endy also offers a 10-year warranty by default. You can extend that warranty to 15 years by becoming an Endy VIP. However, this involves signing up for their email list. In comparison, competing brands like Logan & Cove offer a generous 15-year warranty by default. You also get free delivery to most locations in Canada (additional fees may apply to remote areas), a 365-night sleep trial, and the option of free return pickup with a full refund.
Choose Logan & Cove and get a 365-night sleep trial and a 15-year warranty.

Endy Hybrid Mattress Construction
The Canadian-made Endy Hybrid mattress has 4 layers: three foam layers and one zoned coil support layer. The foam layers are CertiPUR-US® Certified.
- Layer 1: The 2″ comfort layer is made of Endy Comfort Foam, a polyurethane foam that “hugs” your body without allowing you to sink in too far. Endy also claims that the foam’s open-cell design improves airflow and breathability for cooler sleep.
- Layer 2: The 3″ transition layer of polyurethane foam helps relieve pressure points and prevent motion transfer for undisturbed sleep.
- Layer 3: Endy’s website says the 6″ zoned coil support layer features high-carbon steel pocket coils, wrapped in 100% polypropylene, for more lumbar support and motion isolation. This is important if you’re a light sleeper with a restless partner.
- Layer 4: The 1.75″ support layer is made of high-density polyurethane foam that helps keep the mattress firm and supportive.
Endy Hybrid’s top cover and side fabric are made of 100% polyester. The cover fill fibres are also 100% polyester, while the bottom cover fabric is 100% polypropylene. Polyester is not known to be a breathable fabric and can trap heat. There’s a possibility that you might experience overheating if you tend to sleep hot at night.

MattressReviews.ca commissions licensed third-party engineers and uses public data to rate mattresses on over 40 criteria.
This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable. Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.

6.1 /10
Firmness
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Endy Hybrid scored 6.1/10 for firmness. This falls into the medium-firm category, which is suitable for all sleep styles. However, Endy Hybrid has a significant amount of “hug.” This may not be ideal if you’re a stomach sleeper.
(Looking for a medium-firm mattress with less sink? Consider Logan & Cove Choice with its plush yet supportive surface and a firmness score of 6.9/10.)

6.0 /10
Edge Support
The Endy Hybrid mattress has above-average edge support at 6.0/10. This means you can sit comfortably on the edge of the bed and lie farther away from the middle. However, you may notice the sidewalls sinking a bit beneath your weight.
(If edge support is a priority for you, you may prefer a mattress like Logan & Cove Choice with its higher edge support score of 7.5/10.)
7.2 /10
Motion Isolation
Endy Hybrid scores highly for motion isolation with a very good score of 7.2/10. This level of motion isolation is higher than average for a hybrid mattress, and it’s essential if you sleep beside a partner and want uninterrupted rest.
(Want even more motion isolation? Check out Logan & Cove Choice with its higher motion isolation score of 7.5/10.)
5.4 /10
Bounce
Coil-based mattresses tend to be more responsive than all-foam and latex mattresses. While the level of bounce in a mattress is a preference, a higher bounce level means higher responsiveness, making it easier to change positions during the night. The Endy Hybrid mattress earned a bounce score of 5.4/10, which is typical for a hybrid mattress.
(Need a little extra bounce? Try Logan & Cove Choice with its higher bounce score of 5.8/10.)

Cooling Features
Endy Hybrid isn’t advertised as a cooling mattress, but it does have a few cooling features that help you enjoy a more temperature-controlled sleep. Endy Hybrid earns points for its:
- Open-cell foam comfort layer, which is more breathable than closed-cell foam
- Layer of pocketed coils that improve airflow
That said, if you’re looking for a hybrid mattress with more advanced cooling features, you may prefer Logan & Cove Choice. In addition to open-cell foam and pocketed coils, Choice also comes with a layer of cooling gel-infused foam and a top cover made with cooling nanofibres, breathable hollow-fibre fill, and more gel foam—all for a lower price of $999 for a queen size.

Company Background
Endy is a Toronto-based sleep company well-known as a mattress-in-a-box brand. The Endy mattress quickly gained popularity in Canada and became one of the most recognized mattress brands, competing with other popular brands like Douglas and Casper.
After selling its mattresses for three years, Endy was acquired by Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc. in 2018. The company continues to primarily sell their mattresses online as an independent subsidiary. They have also opened some stores in Halifax (Nova Scotia), Etobicoke (Ontario), and Edmonton (Alberta).
In addition to their original foam mattress, Endy also sells the Endy Hybrid mattress and a range of bedding accessories and living room furniture. Even with these new offerings, the Endy foam mattress remains their most well-known product.
Endy is rated “A+” with the Better Business Bureau. However, their customer review rating is just 1/5 stars. The company is also rated just “Poor” on Trustpilot with a 3.3/5 customer review rating based on 8 reviews, of which 44% are 1-star reviews.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Endy mattresses good?
The Endy Hybrid mattress performed well in third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), with above-average scores for edge support and motion isolation. You might like this mattress if you’re looking to spend under $1,300 for a queen-size hybrid mattress with a medium-firm feel and plenty of “hug.”
However, if you want a more affordable hybrid mattress with more advanced cooling features, we recommend Logan & Cove Choice instead. Priced at $999 for a queen size, Logan & Cove Choice earned even higher scores for edge support and motion isolation, and it has more advanced cooling features. The mattress also comes with a lengthier 365-night sleep trial, a more generous 15-year warranty, and a free bedding bundle with every mattress purchase.
Where are Endy mattresses sold?
Endy mattresses are primarily sold online through their website. However, you may be able to buy an Endy mattress in a brick-and-mortar Endy store as well. The company has stores in Halifax (Nova Scotia), Etobicoke (Ontario), and Edmonton (Alberta).
Where is the Endy Hybrid mattress made?
The Endy Hybrid mattress is made in Canada. Mattresses are made at facilities in Ontario and Quebec, then shipped from distribution centres in Ontario and Alberta.
Is the Endy Hybrid Mattress cover machine washable?
No, it isn’t. The cover on the Endy Hybrid Mattress can’t be removed and washed because the plush quilted top is lined with foam. Endy recommends spot-cleaning any marks or stains using a damp cloth and mild detergent. The company also recommends using a mattress protector and suggests its own brand, which is temperature-regulating and water resistant.
What are the Endy Hybrid mattress dimensions?
The Endy Hybrid mattress is offered in standard sizes with the following dimensions representing length, width, and height:
- Twin: 75″ x 39″ x 13″
- Twin XL: 80″ x 39″ x 13″
- Full/Double: 75″ x 54″ x 13″
- Queen: 80″ x 60″ x 13″
- King: 80″ x 76″ x 13″
- California King: 84″ x 72″ x 13″
What is the Endy Hybrid firmness score?
The medium-firm version of Endy Hybrid scored 6.1/10 for firmness in third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us). This places the mattress in the medium-firm category, so the firmness score aligns with the mattress’s advertised firmness level. A medium-firm feel is suitable for all sleep styles. However, we also noted a significant amount of “hug,” which may not be ideal if you’re a stomach sleeper.
What’s the difference between The Endy and Endy Hybrid?
The main difference between the two mattresses is their construction. While both mattresses contain Endy Comfort Foam in their layers, Endy Hybrid is a hybrid mattress containing pocketed coils in its support layer. The Endy is an all-foam mattress and is the only one with a machine-washable cover.
What does the Endy Hybrid mattress warranty cover?
The standard 10-year Endy Hybrid mattress warranty covers one-time repair or replacement due to manufacturer errors in the original size purchased. You can extend your warranty to 15 years by registering your mattress online at no additional cost. It’s important to note that the warranty doesn’t cover damage to Endy Hybrid’s fabric handles caused by improper handling.
What Endy Hybrid mattress alternatives should I consider?
Logan & Cove Choice is a medium-firm hybrid mattress ideal for all sleep styles. The company offers a more generous 365-night sleep trial, compared to Endy’s 100-night trial. Logan & Cove Choice also includes more advanced cooling features, and performed well for edge support and motion isolation, all at just $999 for a queen size, compared to $1,295 for an Endy Hybrid.
