It offers standard features like foam construction, free delivery, and a 100-night trial period, making it an average contender for an affordable foam mattress.

One notable downside of Casper Element Pro is its relatively high cost of $1,195 for a queen size. This price places it in the mid-range among foam mattresses from other bed-in-a-box brands.

Casper Mattress Construction

The Casper Element Pro mattress contains 3 layers of foam. Casper doesn’t publicly share specifics about foam origin or density.

• Layer 1: The comfort layer features 2″ of perforated polyurethane foam that molds to your body, offering pressure-point relief when you lie down. Perforated foam is often used to keep you cool while you sleep.
• Layer 2: The transition layer includes 2″ of memory foam for added cushioning and support. While the top layer is designed to provide some airflow, memory foam is known for trapping body heat. So if you tend to sleep hot, this mattress may not be an ideal choice.
• Layer 3: The support layer is designed with a substantial 6″ of support foam. This ensures a sturdy base, which means the mattress may be less likely to sink over time.

Casper Element Pro has a mattress cover made of polyester, cotton, rayon, and spandex, with some recycled and “upcycled” materials. The cover isn’t removable or machine-washable.
