Casper Atlas

Casper Atlas is a medium-firm value hybrid mattress. Notably heavy for a hybrid model, Casper Atlas is difficult for a single person to move—a queen size weighs 148 pounds. This matttress also costs $1,199 for a queen size, which is high compared to its relative lack of features. Competing mattresses often offer much more for much less.

The Casper

The Casper is an all-foam mattress made in the USA. A new iteration of Casper Original, The Casper lacks the same zoned support and has reduced motion isolation. It also doesn’t have advanced cooling features to balance out the heat-trapping properties of memory foam. Despite being positioned as a budget option, it’s priced at $1,499 CAD for a queen size.

Casper Dawn

Casper Dawn is an all-foam mattress with a firm feel aimed at the budget market. It has excellent edge support and very good motion isolation, but below-average bounce. Dawn is pricey for a budget mattress, costing $999 for a queen size. The mattress offers few extra features for its cost, and has very little cooling.

Casper Wave Hybrid (Discontinued)

Casper Wave Hybrid is an American-made, five-layer mattress constructed with latex, gel pods, springs, and foam. It costs $3,499 for a queen size.

Casper Wave Hybrid has a notably larger price tag than other similarly made luxury brand mattresses. It was replaced on the Casper website by the Wave Hybrid Snow, which is said to be a cooler mattress.

Casper Snow

Casper Snow is a hybrid mattress with cooling features like phase-change material, perforated foam, and cooling yarn in the top cover. A queen size sells for $2,999.

This mattress has zoned support and very good motion isolation. But it lacks basic features like a machine-washable cover, and the brand’s sleep trial and warranty are only average. The price is also too high for many mattress shoppers.

Casper Element Pro (Discontinued)

Element Pro was Casper’s entry-level foam mattress. A queen size would sell for $1,195 CAD, but this mattress has been discontinued.

Although it was Casper’s least expensive mattress, Element Pro’s value didn’t seem to align with its price tag, which was more expensive than similarly comfortable value mattresses.

Casper Original was an all-foam mattress with three ergonomic zones of support. It was priced at $1,499 CAD for a queen size.

This mattress was more expensive than competing all-foam mattresses but didn’t offer the same cooling features. It was discontinued in 2023 and can only be purchased through third-party retailers or some Casper Sleep Stores.
