Both Springwall Enchantment and Juno are budget-friendly foam mattresses that are made in Canada and provide above-average motion isolation. However, only Juno offers a 120-night sleep trial, a 15-year warranty, free shipping, and free return pickup with a full refund.
Named Canada’s Best Affordable Mattress, Juno features cooling gel foam, excellent edge support, and an affordable price of just $499 for a queen size. Juno also comes with a free bedding bundle that includes a mattress protector, pillow(s), sheets, and pillow protector(s). It’s available in RV sizes, which is perfect if you need a cost-effective mattress for your camper.

Juno offers a well-rounded combination of support and comfort, with an optional Cool+ cover upgrade for a cooler night’s sleep. This mattress also received high scores for its excellent edge support, longer sleep trial of 120 nights and 15-year warranty, free shipping, and easy returns with full refund. Your purchase also comes with a free bedding bundle that includes a mattress protector, pillow(s), sheets, and pillow protector(s)—all for under $500 for a queen size.
Springwall Enchantment, on the other hand, has a restrictive 90-day exchange period and only a 5-year warranty. This is far less than the industry-standard 10-year warranty and 100-night sleep trial. The exchange period also isn’t a true sleep trial because The Brick only provides a one-time exchange—no returns or refunds.
While Juno is available through the brand’s website in a full range of sizes, Springwall Enchantment can only be purchased at The Brick in twin, full/double, and queen sizes. The Brick has a BBB rating of “C-” (unaccredited) and a “Poor” rating on Trustpilot, with complaints about poor customer service, late delivery, and damaged or wrong furniture. It’s also worth noting that as of November 2024, the Canadian Competition Bureau is investigating The Brick for deceptive marketing practices like artificially inflated prices.

This allows us to accurately rate and compare the performance of the mattresses reviewed on this website. Engineer independence and operating standards help ensure their results remain unbiased, valid, and reliable. Each mattress was evaluated using the same strict mattress testing methodology to protect the overall integrity of the results. The full report has been given the official stamp of approval from an APEGA-certified engineer operating under a strict ethical code of conduct.
Mattress testing conducted outside of this professional standard poses a greater risk of validity errors or reviewer bias.

Juno has a medium-firm feel, which is ideal for all sleep styles. It offers a well-rounded combination of support and comfort that feels like a warm, gentle hug.
Springwall Enchantment has a firm feel, which is generally better for stomach and back sleepers. If you sleep on your side, you might find Springwall puts pressure on your shoulder and hip.
The higher a mattress’s edge support score, the better it supports your weight while sitting or lying along the edge. Foam mattresses typically have lower edge support, compared to hybrid and innerspring mattresses.
In third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Springwall scored below average for edge support at just 4.3/10. With this mattress, you could have trouble sitting on the edge of the bed or getting up in the morning.
Juno outperformed Springwall by a wide margin with an excellent edge support score of 8.0/10. You’ll be able to sit on the edge of the bed comfortably or sleep farther away from the middle of the mattress without any fear of falling off.
Foam mattresses generally provide excellent motion isolation. This makes them a go-to favourite for couples—especially if one person is a restless sleeper.
Springwall Enchantment scored 6.1/10 for motion isolation. If you are a light sleeper, this mattress should keep you (and your partner) from noticing sleep-disturbing movements. That said, Juno scored slightly better at 6.2/10. You should be able to enjoy an undisturbed night’s sleep with either mattress.
Foam mattresses often have high motion isolation scores, which results in low bounce scores. The lower the bounce score, the less responsive the mattress is to movement. That’s good news if you’re looking for a consistent sleep surface for a more restful sleep.
Springwall Enchantment scored 4.0/10 for bounce. This is somewhat responsive but still lower than average for a foam mattress. If you’re looking for a mattress with even less bounce, try Juno with its bounce score of 2.5/10. Even with its lower bounce score, you should still be able to change sleep positions easily on a Juno mattress without feeling stuck.
Springwall and Juno are advertised as value mattresses, not cooling mattresses. However, both include some cooling features to keep temperatures lower while you sleep.
Springwall earned a cooling feature score of 2.2/10 for its moisture-wicking gel quilt top cover and a layer of cooling gel foam, which enhances heat dissipation and airflow.
Juno also offers comfortable temperatures on a budget with its higher cooling feature score of 2.4/10. The mattress comes standard with a layer of cooling gel foam. With the optional Cool+ upgrade, you’ll also get a cover woven with heat-dissipating yarn, helping to keep temperatures low for a more refreshing sleep.

Springwall and Juno are both all-foam mattresses containing two layers: a top layer of cooling gel foam and a base foam support layer. Both mattresses are made in Canada and all foam used is CertiPUR-US® certified.
Juno’s cover design pays tribute to the classic striped wool socks that have been a staple in Canadian wardrobes for generations. Its knit material is made from polyester and viscose, with a prominent berry stripe along one end of the mattress. While the mattress cover cannot be removed, it can be spot-cleaned. Your purchase also comes with a free bedding bundle that includes a mattress protector.
The Springwall mattress cover is made of white quilted material with dark piping along the edges. The mattress cover is not removable or machine washable. We recommend spot-cleaning only with minimal water, and you may want to invest in a good mattress protector. There is also a prominent tag at the foot of the mattress, which could be visible through your sheets.
Upgrade to Juno’s Cool+ cover for an even cooler sleep.

Springwall Enchantment is delivered through The Brick’s distribution system, not third-party couriers. The Brick charges for shipping and calculates shipping costs and timelines based on your postal code. It doesn’t offer general delivery estimates online. You can only receive free shipping if you sign up for The Brick’s store credit card.
The Brick’s exchange and return process is not clearly posted online. Trustpilot has numerous negative reviews about customer concerns, including multiple emails to the company that weren’t returned, or that it took a long time to hear back from a representative. Standard replies to their post asked reviewers to contact The Brick on its toll-free number.
The company offers a 90-day exchange period, which is different from a sleep trial. It means less time to try your mattress and greater restrictions than the industry standard 100-night sleep trial. The Brick’s returns and exchanges webpage says if you also bought a mattress protector you can double the length of your exchange period, but doesn’t specify which mattress protector. Buying additional accessories should be an important consideration if you’re mattress shopping on a budget.
If you want to return your Springwall mattress, you’ll only get store credit for another mattress from The Brick. Because Springwall Enchantment is one of the lowest-priced options on the market, this could mean paying more to switch to another mattress. The Brick’s “one-time reselection” policy also doesn’t apply to all mattresses it sells, and you’ll have to pay additional delivery fees for your replacement mattress.
Springwall comes with a 5-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects only. Like most manufacturer warranties, Springwall’s doesn’t cover normal wear and tear, mattress or box spring damage, or stains caused by spilling food or drink. This warranty period is only half the length of the 10-year industry standard.
In comparison, Juno offers free ground shipping via FedEx. Your mattress is delivered directly to your door throughout most parts of Canada. Additional fees may apply for some remote locations.
Juno has a longer 120-night sleep trial. If you decide to return your mattress within the sleep trial period, Juno will pick up your mattress for free, issue a full refund, and either donate your mattress to a local charity or recycle it. Juno’s return policy is clearly posted on its website, complete with step-by-step instructions, so you know what the return process looks like before you buy the mattress.
In addition, Juno comes with a 15-year warranty. This warranty isn’t just longer than the industry average—it’s also three times as long as Springwall’s.
