Because of this higher thread count, our reviewers noted these sheets felt heavier than other cotton sheets, but still felt soft and smooth. The heavy feel might cause overheating if you’re a hot sleeper, especially with the tighter weave and higher thread count.

The sheet set also comes with a 4″ hem finish on the top sheet and the pillowcases, which our reviewers felt was a nice touch to give it a hotel-quality look and feel. That said, reviewers did notice a high number of loose threads.

The Silk & Snow Linen Sheets are crafted in Portugal from 100% European flax. Our reviewers noted that the sheets appear to be stone-washed and not overly dyed, as the colour already has a slightly faded, subdued appearance.

On the Casper website, Casper Percale Sheets are advertised as 100% organic cotton. The fabric tag confirms the sheets are entirely made of cotton. However, there are no certifications listed to confirm they’re organic. When we spoke to Casper’s customer support team via online chat, they didn’t provide any information, either.

Casper Percale Sheets have a crisp feel that’s similar to hotel sheets. However, several of our reviewers noted that the sheets felt like paper and not as soft as they were expecting. They found this disappointing, considering the higher-than-average price tag of $179 for a queen-size set.

While the percale weave should reinforce and strengthen the fabric to make it more durable and long-lasting, Casper only provides a 1-year warranty for its sheets. You also have only a 30-night sleep trial to decide whether the sheets work for your needs.

It’s worth noting that it took over a month to receive these sheets. Our first order was returned to Casper by the courier after making no attempt at delivery, and we had to contact Casper for a replacement. However, the replacement order wasn’t processed for another two weeks and only when we contacted Casper again to check our order status. This would likely be a frustrating experience for other Casper customers.

Advertised as “The Coolest Sheets in the World,” GhostSheets are made with Supima cotton and woven with TENCEL™ fibres for cooling. These sheets felt soft to the touch, but they had a strong odour that remained for several days after being unboxed. They also didn’t feel any cooler than the other sheets we reviewed.

The fitted sheet has a strong elastic band to help it stay in place, and the sheets are machine washable. It’s also interesting to note that GhostBed doesn’t disclose the thread count of their GhostSheets on the company website.

These are the highest-priced sheets we reviewed at $459 for a queen-size set. However, like GhostBed’s mattresses, you’ll find that the company’s bedding options are regularly offered at a “discounted” price. These sheets don’t come with a sleep trial and can’t be returned.
