Octave’s sleep trial is 365 nights. This is much longer than the industry-standard 100-night trial. After you try your Octave for at least 21 days, you can decide whether you want to keep the mattress or return it for a full refund within the sleep trial window.

According to the third-party engineer testing (commissioned by us), Octave mattresses are considered medium-firm. This means you should experience minimal sinking with a consistent amount of “hug” from the top layer. A medium-firm feel is ideal for all sleep styles, whether you sleep on your side, back, or stomach.

Octave Mirage and Octave Horizon each contain a 1.5″ layer of aerated latex foam. This supportive layer offers a little extra springiness for a more responsive sleep surface. It also contains hundreds of air vents that help make the mattress breathable and cool. Octave Vista doesn’t contain any latex.

Yes, all Octave mattresses come with a machine-washable cover. Simply unzip the 360-degree top cover and run it through your washing machine on a gentle cycle. Then lay it out to air-dry, or run a low-heat or tumble-dry cycle in the dryer. Finally, zip the top cover back onto the bottom cover.

Octave Mirage is an upgrade from Octave Vista, with better pressure-point relief, cooling and support. Mirage has an extra half-inch of memory foam in the top layer and a 1.5″ aerated foam layer for greater joint pain and pressure-point relief, as well as air circulation. However, Octave Vista is still a good choice for an entry-level memory foam mattress, considering its multi-zone support, premium construction, and advanced cooling features.

Octave Horizon is the best option in the Octave lineup. It has greater motion isolation, added pressure-point relief, and more advanced cooling features than Vista or Mirage. It contains a 2″ layer of ecoLuxe® cooling gel foam for extra spinal support and temperature control. Horizon’s added features make it an excellent choice if you want an extra-supportive, temperature-controlled memory foam mattress at an affordable price.
